Understand plan selection, upgrade and downgrade behavior, and how billing works with Stripe.

Plans and Features

Kontara offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans with increasing feature limits.
Each plan defines limits for invoices per month, team members, and available features.
You can compare all plans on the Pricing page, accessible from your subscription overview.

Upgrades take effect immediately after checkout via Stripe.
Downgrades are scheduled — your current plan stays active until the billing period ends.
After the billing period expires, your organization moves to the selected lower plan.

View your current plan, usage, and active discounts under Account Center → Subscription.
Use the Stripe billing portal to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.
To cancel: open the billing portal via Account Center and follow the cancellation flow.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no immediate loss of access.
