Understand plan selection, upgrade and downgrade behavior, and how billing works with Stripe.

Plans and Features

  • Kontara offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans with increasing feature limits.
  • Each plan defines limits for invoices per month, team members, and available features.
  • You can compare all plans on the Pricing page, accessible from your subscription overview.

Upgrading and Downgrading

  • Upgrades take effect immediately after checkout via Stripe.
  • Downgrades are scheduled — your current plan stays active until the billing period ends.
  • After the billing period expires, your organization moves to the selected lower plan.

Managing Your Subscription

  • View your current plan, usage, and active discounts under Account Center → Subscription.
  • Use the Stripe billing portal to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.
  • To cancel: open the billing portal via Account Center and follow the cancellation flow.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no immediate loss of access.
